FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) How do I book your inflatables?
To book an Inflatable with us you can use our 24-hour Online booking system, or you can call our office on 01892 661799 / 07817103735 (Opening hours are... Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm, Weekends 10am to 4pm)
2) What does the price include?
Price includes... A full set up by a fully trained member of staff. We supply you with the Fan, Extension Leads and Anchor pegs, we will also provide Crash mats for added safety, this will ensure yourself and children have a safe and enjoyable day.
We pay the VAT for all private domestic hires only. All businesses, schools, councils, all events, charities and any commercial use/hire will be subject to 20% VAT added to your order after booking. You can request an VAT invoice if you are VAT registered to reclaim this back.

3) When are your Inflatables available for hire?
All of our inflatables are available for hire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including bank holidays)
4) Do you hire your equipment overnight?
If you require your inflatable overnight , you will need to book a 2 day hire.
5) How long do I get the equipment?
Our prices are based on a 2-to-6-hour hire (longer hires are available at £15 per extra Hr)
6) What if my town is not on your list of delivery areas?
This does not mean we do not cover your area. Please call the office on 01892 661799 and we will do our best to help you
7) Do I pay anything on booking?
Once your booking has been received and reviewed by our team a £25 Booking Fee per inflatable/day will be required to secure your booking.
8) How do I pay my balance?
Payment can be made by paying cash on delivery(recommended for outdoor bookings) or alternatively you can pay by bank transfer prior to the date of the event
9) Cancellations policy
Your £25 Booking Fee is totally non-refundable unless it is cancelled due to adverse weather, we will then transfer your booking and payments made to an alternative date or refund if we do not have a suitable date available
KBS Inflatable Kingdom do reserve the right to cancel your booking at short notice due to inclement weather conditions. This includes heavy rain and wind / gusts over 24mph. Should this happen we will happily move your booking to an indoor venue if one is available or another date at no extra cost.
Once your Inflatable has been delivered, FULL payment will be required
10) What if it's raining on the day of my party?
Most of our castles have rain covers, which will be suitable for light rain showers or drizzle but not heavy downpours of rain. If you wish to move your booking date due to bad weather conditions, please give us as much notice as possible, any cancellations must be made before your Inflatable is set up. If we believe the weather conditions to be unsafe to erect your inflatable (winds over 24 mph or heavy rain) we will contact, you. We understand this may cause disappointment, but safety must be our priority.
We do NOT offer refunds due to bad weather once your Inflatable has been delivered and set up
11) Can the Inflatables be set up on Hard standing (concrete / Astroturf)
Unfortunately, we will NOT set up our Inflatables on Concrete or Astroturf, you will need to provide a flat grassed area, please see the size tab for each inflatable to measure the area you need. You will need a grassed area the size of the required space NOT the unit size.
12) Do I need an electricity supply?
Yes. We will supply the extension cables to a maximum of 50 Metres, so you will need an outlet near the set-up area. Running further than 50m causes too much resistance, which can result in a drop in power and is therefore not safe. Each inflation fan will need its own individual 13amp power socket as they pull 7.8amp so using plug adapters is not suitable. For multiple items please make sure you have enough power sockets ( assault courses need 2 or 3 plug sockets depending on their length)
The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.25 of electricity per hour.
13) Our garden has a slope, is that ok?
It is not desirable unless it is a very slight slope. If you are unsure, we will always visit your garden to advise you prior to the booking. Please bear in mind that the inflatables are very heavy when considering your positioning in the garden. Surcharges apply for over 10 steps and any difficult areas due to needing 2 men on the delivery. We can not go up large banks or deliver to properties with over 15 steps to the set up area.
14) How long does it take to set up and take down inflatables?
We would ask you to allow 1 hour either side of your party times
15) I have booked a face painter/Glitter tattooist is this, ok?
NO, under no circumstances can face paint go on the castles as it can cause permanent staining to the inflatable.
Glitter tattoos are also not permitted as they stick to the inflatable and can not be easily removed.
16) Can I put water on the inflatables on a hot day
NO. Under no circumstances can you attach hoses or put water on the inflatables. Our inflatables will go mouldy if are left wet so putting water on them is not acceptable unless you have hired an actual water slide.
